My 11 year old spent 4 hours making this ring entirely by hand. Under close supervision and with verbal direction he carved his ring band out of Tufa stone, melted silver, and poured the molten metal into the cast. He also cut this beautiful 57 carat Stella Blue Turquosie cabochon (sourced from the mine directly through Ryan Baird and Shera Hardy) He soldered everything together, set the stone, and gave it a polish. Notice on the ring band he was intentional about the “V” shape so it would be comfortable when you close your fist. He came up with that all on his own and I will be continuing to do this… it is seriously SO comfortable. This rings 21 grams of Sterling Silver. I love watching him create and can’t wait to see what he makes next.
